Abstract

This study examines the integration of spiritual values into modern Islamic business management and explores how spirituality can influence managerial decision-making, organizational behavior, leadership, business ethics, and sustainable organizational development. The study aims to develop a conceptual understanding of how Islamic spiritual values can be integrated into contemporary management practices without separating economic objectives from moral and religious responsibilities. The research focuses on values such as tawhid, amanah, ihsan, taqwa, sincerity, justice, honesty, responsibility, and maslahah as foundations for managerial conduct and organizational decision-making. This research employs a qualitative library research method using secondary sources obtained from academic books, peer-reviewed journal articles, scholarly publications, and relevant authoritative sources discussing Islamic business management, Islamic ethics, spirituality, Islamic economics, organizational behavior, leadership, and business sustainability. The collected materials are analyzed through a descriptive-analytical approach involving identification, categorization, interpretation, comparison, and synthesis of relevant concepts. The findings indicate that spirituality in Islamic business management should not be understood merely as an individual's private religious experience but as a value system that can shape organizational objectives, managerial behavior, leadership practices, stakeholder relationships, and approaches to business performance. Spiritual values encourage managers to view business activity as a form of responsibility and stewardship rather than merely a mechanism for financial accumulation. The study concludes that the integration of spiritual values can strengthen the ethical foundation of modern Islamic business management by connecting organizational performance with accountability, human dignity, justice, trust, and broader social welfare.
