Authorship Criteria

Al-Mubtadi: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is committed to maintaining transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly authorship. All individuals listed as authors must have made meaningful intellectual contributions to the research and must take responsibility for their contributions to the manuscript.

To qualify for authorship, each author must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Substantial Contribution: Contribute significantly to the conception or design of the study, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of findings, or development of the research framework.

  2. Manuscript Preparation: Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.

  3. Final Approval: Review and approve the final version of the manuscript before submission and publication.

  4. Accountability: Agree to be accountable for their contributions and help ensure the accuracy and integrity of the research.

The order of authors should be agreed upon by all authors before manuscript submission. All authors must provide accurate names, institutional affiliations, and contact information. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the editorial office and confirming that all co-authors have approved the manuscript.

Individuals who provide technical assistance, administrative support, language editing, or general supervision without meeting the authorship criteria should be acknowledged appropriately, with their consent, rather than automatically being listed as authors. Honorary, guest, gift, and ghost authorship are not permitted.

Any request to add, remove, or rearrange authors after submission must be accompanied by a clear justification and written consent from all affected authors. The editorial team may suspend the review process until the request has been adequately resolved.

Artificial intelligence (AI) tools cannot be listed as authors because they cannot assume responsibility for the accuracy, integrity, and originality of scholarly work. Authors remain fully responsible for all manuscript content and must disclose the use of AI tools in accordance with the journal's applicable policies.

Al Mubtadi reserves the right to request clarification regarding authorship and individual contributions whenever necessary. Manuscripts that do not comply with this policy may be returned for clarification or rejected in accordance with the journal's editorial policies.
