Post-Publication Discussion

Al-Mubtadi: Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah supports constructive scholarly discussion and welcomes well-founded feedback on articles published in the journal. Post-publication discussion provides an opportunity for readers, researchers, authors, and other members of the academic community to raise questions, clarify findings, and contribute to the development of knowledge in the field of elementary and Islamic elementary education.

1. Scope of Post-Publication Discussion

Post-publication discussion may address the methodology, interpretation, originality, academic contribution, ethical considerations, or other relevant aspects of a published article. Comments should be evidence-based, academically relevant, respectful, and intended to improve scholarly understanding.

2. Submission of Comments and Concerns

Readers who wish to comment on a published article or raise a concern should contact the editorial team through the journal's official contact information. Submissions should clearly identify the article concerned, explain the issue, and provide supporting evidence or references where appropriate.

The journal may request additional information before proceeding with an assessment. Submissions containing personal attacks, defamatory statements, irrelevant material, or unsupported allegations may not be considered for publication.

3. Editorial Assessment

The editorial team will assess submitted comments for relevance, academic merit, accuracy, and compliance with publication ethics. The journal may invite the original authors to respond and may consult independent experts when the matter requires additional academic or ethical evaluation.

The journal reserves the right to edit comments for clarity and length, request revisions, decline unsuitable submissions, or determine an appropriate format for communicating the discussion. Any editorial action will be taken fairly and without undue bias.

4. Author Responses

When appropriate, the authors of the article concerned will be given a reasonable opportunity to respond to substantive comments or criticisms. Responses should address the issues raised objectively and provide supporting evidence where necessary.

Constructive exchanges between readers and authors may be published or linked to the original article when the journal considers this appropriate and feasible.

5. Research Integrity and Corrections

Post-publication comments that raise credible concerns about research integrity, data accuracy, authorship, plagiarism, or ethical compliance will be assessed in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies.

Where warranted, the journal may publish a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction, following an appropriate assessment and investigation. The journal will not treat an allegation as proof of misconduct and will seek to ensure that all relevant parties are treated fairly.

6. Transparency and Record Keeping

The journal aims to maintain a transparent record of substantive post-publication discussions and any related editorial actions. Where comments or responses are published, they should be clearly associated with the relevant article whenever technically feasible.

All discussions must comply with applicable ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and relevant data-protection principles.

Al-Mubtadi encourages responsible academic dialogue as part of its commitment to research integrity, continuous scholarly improvement, and the advancement of knowledge in elementary and Islamic elementary education.
