Arabic Learning, Digital Era, Multimedia, Technology Integration, Web-Based ApplicationAbstract
This study explores the development of web-based Arabic learning media applications in the digital era. The research highlights fundamental concepts, theoretical foundations, design principles, and development stages, while addressing challenges and solutions. Web-based applications are presented as interactive, flexible, and adaptive tools that support modern students’ needs. Theoretical perspectives include behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, and Mayer’s multimedia learning theory. Design principles emphasize interactivity, usability, consistency, feedback, and motivation, while language development focuses on contextualization and communicative approaches. Application components consist of learning content, interface design, multimedia support, and interactive evaluation systems. Development stages cover needs analysis, planning, design, technology selection, development, testing, implementation, and evaluation. Key challenges involve technical limitations, low teacher digital competence, internet constraints, and the complexity of Arabic digital design. Proposed solutions include training in educational technology, use of open-source platforms, lightweight application design, and collaboration between teachers and programmers. The study concludes that web-based applications can enhance Arabic learning quality in line with digital transformation demands.
